Breathing In Mimi Page

Mimi Page is a Singer/Songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. Her music style could be categorized within Electronic and Ambient. Although her sound may be grouped within the likes of Feist, Imogen Heap, and Emma Hewitt, it’s her serene and angelic vocals that seduce her listener into wanting more.

In the course of a year, Mimi has released two EP’s including, A Lullaby for the Lonely and her latest full length LP entitled, Breathe Me In released on February 14, 2012, which was produced by platinum winning Producer, Warren Huart. Huart is known for his work with The Fray, Howie Day, Korn, James Blunt, Secondhand Serenade, plus dozens of well-known artists throughout his 16-year career.

It was February 19th and I had the privilege to attend the official Breathe Me In CD release party held at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, CA. With a capacity filled crowd, attendees got a first time sampling of Mimi Page’s brand new music. Mimi performed an 8-song set list including songs from “Breathe Me In” and she also perform some fan favorites including, “Gravity”, “Colorblind“, “My Vanilla Sky”, “This Fire”, “Black Valentine”, plus a few more.

Beginning in March, Mimi Page will begin her East Coast tour starting with Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York City, Road Island, and then back to California for a few performances, plus she’s taking the stage at Coachella in Indio, CA on April 13th and 14th.

  3. This is a sharp looking blog Michael. Cleaner even than the website that it links from. It has a good color scheme with good contrast and great big logo at the top. It’s associated with a local music mag but its not overloaded with ads. There is no audio on the site that blows my head of when it plays because I was already listening to my own music at a high volume. The pictures of Mimi Page are extremely well done which, for me, earns the blog some credibility. A little production value goes a long way. The writing is very brief but long enough to inform. I love the attached music player in the right column.
